Specialism: is Plastratum a plastics engineering specialist?
- Highly trained and experienced workforce, with qualifications in hand welding, extrusion welding, sheet fusion, pipe fusion as well as extensive safety and site qualifications
- Turnkey capability, from consultancy and design through manufacture and installation to commissioning

- Many years of project experience including: ductwork, pipework (including dual containment), chemical storage and process tanks, fume scrubbing and odour control, process lines and surface treatment / finishing, effluent treatment plant, corrosion-resistant pumps and fans

Standards: does Plastratum follow the right standards for your project?
- BS4994: Plastratum can provide detailed calculations to support our manufacture of glass reinforced thermoplastic tanks
- DVS 2205-2: this standard drives the calculation of cylindrical thermoplastic tanks, taking account of media, snow wind and earthquake loads, positioning of nozzles and flat, sloped or conical bottoms
- DVS 2205-5: this standard drives the calculation of rectangular thermoplastic tanks, similar to the above and with the ability to optimise all round reinforcement
- TR40 Local Exhaust Ventilation: Members of our Senior Leadership Team co-authored this guide to good practice for LEV systems
- DW154 Plastic Ductwork: Our sister company’s founder chaired the technical committee that published DW154 in 2000. Members of our Seenior Leadership Team are leading the review of DW154 ahead of its revision
